KidSport™ Edmonton and KidSport™Alberta would like to thank all our community partners for their contribution to our charity which helps ensure more kids get to participate in organized sport and play the games they love.

Local Supporters

	Homes By Avi is a new supporter for KidSport Edmonton. This partnership was forged in the fall of 2011 and KidSport Edmonton is thrilled to be working with Homes By Avi to bring new opportunities to our KidSport Families. KidSport Edmonton would like to thank Homes By Avi for their partnership and helping to ensure all kids can experience the positive benefits of organized sport.
	The Brick Sport Central and KidSport continue to work together to help young athletes with the opportunity to participate in sport. Sport Central is a non-profit organization that collects, refurbishes and redistributes sports equipment to kids who need it. They distribute all kinds of sport equipments to kids in need, including Hockey, Ringette, Skates, Bicycles, Soccer, Softball, Rollerblades, racquets, snow sliders and many other types of gear.
Lister Hall Student's Association	KidSport Edmonton is very thankful for the support of the Lister Hall Students' Assoication. For the past four years, the University of Alberta residence hall has chosen KidSport as the charity of choice for Dodgefest-thier annual campus dodgeball tournament. In the four year event history, Dodgefest has raised more than $37,300 for KidSport.
	KidSport Edmonton is very excited about a new partnership that was formalized with United Cycle in 2010, which was formed out of a mutual interest to enable all kids in the Edmonton community to play sport. United Cycle has already been supporting KidSport Edmonton with various types of sporting equipment and auction items. In addition, they have provided the opportunity to increase awareness in the sporting community by having a presence in their store for a number of initiatives and by choosing KidSport as the charity of choice for a number of United Cycle events.

	The Telus Community Foundation has been a generous donor to KidSport Edmonton and helps greatly in getting the kids off the sidelines!

	KidSport Edmonton has been a recipient of the Community Investment Operating Grant since 2010. Without this support KidSport Edmonton would not be able to continue to grow and support an ever increasing number of kids who wouldn't otherwise get the opportunity to play organized sport.

Provincial Supporters
		Encana™ believes its committed, proactive approach to community investment is accomplished by partnering through time and resources with employees, neighbours, community residents and other businesses which help to create and sustain vibrant communities. Encana™ continues to provide ongoing support for KidSport™ development across Alberta.

As a new company, they are committed to maximizing value for their shareholders while achieving a balance of economic, social and environmental sustainability. In 2010, Cenovus Energy made a 3-year commitment to support the launch of the KidSport Alberta Aboriginal Sport Initiative as well as provide additional staffing for operations in Northern Alberta. Like KidSport, Cenovus Energy also works with many Aboriginal communities and organizations to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships. KidSport Alberta would like to recognize Cenovus Energy for their commitment to the KidSport program.

		The mission of the ASRPWF is to facilitate and enhance activities, lifestyles and legacies through the development of active partnerships in sport, recreation, parks and wildlife programs. ASRPWF provides KidSport™ Alberta the administrative assistance needed for its ongoing operation.

National Supporters
		The dynamic Calgary Flames forward, Jarome Iginla is living proof that sports can be a very rewarding experience. Jarome has been a big supporter of KidSport™ Calgary and has added KidSport™ Canada to his list of charities. For every goal he scores he donates $1,000 to KidSport™ Canada and $1,000 to KidSport™ Calgary. During the 2006-07 NHL season, Jarome scored 39 goals.
Local & National Affiliate
		Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a community-based program of the Canadian Tire Foundation For Families which assists low-income families to get their children involved in recreation and sporting activities by paying the costs associated with their participation (e.g. registration fees, equipment, and transportation). KidSport™ is proud to recognize the Canadian Tire Foundation For Families for this program and supports this program through representation on many Jumpstart Chapters across Canada. Through participation in this program, both KidSport™ and Jumpstart are able to support more children in communities throughout Alberta.
