These funds will be used to support the promotion and awarness of the KidSport program across the province.  | In 2009, KidSport Alberta received the Institute Community Support Grant in partnership with the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) - Institute of Human Development & Child & Youth Health in the amount of $10,000. CIHR is the Government of Canada's agency responsible for funding health research in Canada. This grant will allow KidSport Alberta to develope a new Public Service Announcement and Promotional Video which will be available in 2009. KidSport Alberta would like to recognize the support of CIHR and their assistance in helping us promote our program. |
 | Deluxe Design Group (DDG) is a Calgary based boutique production company that takes pride in being innovative and collaborative. DDG artists are constantly exploring, looking for different ways of doing things and seeking fresh inspiration. We are striving for constant evolution. One way they do this is by forming partnerships with organizations like KidSport. DDG is proud to support KidSport in their mission to get kids off the sidelines. |
 | In 1999, the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) launched the Goals & Dreams fund as a way for the players to give something back to the game they love. The players' program has donated full sets of hockey equipment to more than 13,000 economically disadvantaged children in 18 countries and assisted with upgrades and the building of hundreds of arenas world-wide. In 2009, the NHLPA donated 65 sets of hockey equipment to local KidSport chapters across Alberta for the 2009/10 hockey season. On behalf of KidSport Alberta and the recipients of this very generous donation, we would like to recignize the NHLPA for their support. |

 | The dynamic Calgary Flames forward, Jarome Iginla is living proof that sports can be a very rewarding experience. Jarome has been a big supporter of KidSport™ Calgary and has added KidSport™ Canada to his list of charities. For every goal he scores he donates $1,000 to KidSport™ Canada and $1,000 to KidSport™ Calgary. During the 2006-07 NHL season, Jarome scored 39 goals. |
